The aim of the research was to gain profound and overall knowledge about the social embeddedness and operational mechanisms of migrant organisations in Hungary. This is why a more extended research was conducted in relation to the former ones. Data was collected with survey and interview methods combined. Altogether 146 migrant organisation were identified in Hungary, of which 74 took part in the data collection, interviews were made with 12 organisation representatives and with 10 experts.

The research was conducted in 2011-2012 with the financial supprt of the European Integration Fund and the Hungarian ministry of the Interior.

The access to the collection requires the permission of the principal investigator.
